We have completed domestic and multi-country studies for our clients which include major government organizations, growers associations, and agrochemical producers. Some of our recent experiences include:

Multinational Agrochemical Investigation: To assist the Japanese coffee industry, we conducted a major study of agrochemical usage and inspection in 24 coffee producing countries - including Vietnam, Brazil and China - as a result of tightening regulations (the “positive list” ) on agrochemical residue on imports to Japan.

Multinational Agricultural Policy Studies: We have provided in-depth data and analyses of the agricultural economies and policies in several countries including Chile, Cambodia and South Africa for a large institutional client.

Agrochemical Marketing and Distribution System Strategy: At the request of a major Fortune 500 agrochemical producer, we have deeply analyzed Japanese agrochemical distribution and recommended strategic changes in its own distribution.

Comprehensive Biotechnology Overview: As part of a four country study, we conducted a comprehensive analysis of biotechnology in Japan, including history, communications, government policy and consumer attitudes and concerns with emphasis on developing a strategy to improve receptivity to GMO food products.

Health Food Development Investigation: We provided safety and consumer consumption information in several countries for a secret new health food additive upon request at a major Japanese food ingredient manufacturer seeking new opportunities.

Agri-Development Study: We have conducted several studies of the Chinese government and industry strategy regarding grain, - eg. rice, wheat, soybeans - for a major government organization.

Bio-plastics Program Evaluation: For a major producers association, we evaluated their promotion programs for bio-plastics and other bio-materials in Japan, to identify future opportunities in that sector.

Agrochemical Merger and Acquisition Analysis: For several corporate entities, we have studied and recommended negotiation strategies regarding companies targeted for M+A, joint ventures and technology investments.
